We are a small but mighty team and pension plan for almost 10,000 workplace insurance and safety employees in Ontario. We are dedicated to delivering on our defined benefit pension promise to our members. 

Our team is being handpicked for their experience, personalities, different perspectives, and commitment to our values – this is what we believe makes us great. 

We do things differently. We want you to work independently but know you have a supportive team to back you up. And if that is not enough for you, here is a glimpse into some of the norms we've established as a team:

1. Our core hours are between 8:30am and 4:30pm - that's when we expect others to read and respond to our emails or attend meetings. Individually, we might choose to adjust our hours to reflect our remote work realities.

2. No agenda, no attenda. We provide agendas in the meeting invitation so people can decide if they need to attend. If we don't provide an agenda, we don't expect people to attend. 

3. We block time to get our work done, and we respect each other's blocked time. That means we don't shoehorn in "quick" meetings or phone calls or other interruptions. 

4. Me time, not we time, on Friday afternoons. From 1:00pm to 4:30pm, we do what we need to do, solo. We will ask our partners to find alternative times to meet - we're that serious about preserving this meeting-free block of time.
